With a deep passion for The Goonies, Star Wars, E.T., The Labyrinth, and all John Hughes movies, Jen's imagination blossomed at a young age. By third grade she declared she'd become a writer, later penning at least a dozen books on her family's Apple IIc before graduating from high school. After college and starting a family, she finally followed her dream with the publication of What I've Done in 2012. Jen's books are praised as being "original" and "unique" with love plots and realistic story lines woven together for the right blend of romantic suspense.
Upon publishing seven young adult paranormal novels as Jen Naumann, she switched to adult romance under the pen name Jennifer Ann. The idea for her first series (NYC LOVE) hatched after renting a brownstone with girlfriends in Murray Hill, and the Kendall Family series stems from a separate visit to Brooklyn Heights mixed with a love for rock and roll.
When Jen isn't writing or chasing her (nearly all grown) children around southern Minnesota, you can find her attempting to satisfy her hopeless case of wanderlust, obsessing over the Foo Fighters, or rocking out at concerts.
